Smart Home App — POC
Smart home applications typically present all devices in a single long list, which quickly becomes difficult to navigate as the number of devices grows. This concept explored an alternative structure based on rooms and scenarios, aiming to keep device control simple and scalable.

The challenge
In initial testing of a long device list, users struggled to quickly locate a single device among dozens of similar entries, which reduced interaction efficiency.

The approach
I reorganized the experience around rooms, with quick access to scenes for common actions. Advanced settings were progressively disclosed and only shown when needed, reducing cognitive load in everyday use.

The outcome
Concept testing showed reduced device discovery times compared to the original list-based approach, validating the room-based structure for further exploration and iteration.
