Real Estate Listings

The property search experience was fragmented: the property list and map view functioned as two separate workflows, causing users to lose context whenever they switched between them. This project unified both into a single search experience, complemented by saved searches and the ability to contact agents directly from relevant listings.

The challenge

Switching between the property list and the map reset filters and interrupted the user's search journey. Losing context made it harder to explore listings and often led users to abandon their search.

Property detail modal showing photography, price, address, core specs, and deeper information without leaving the listing view.

The approach

I redesigned the experience around a shared search model, allowing the list and map to share the same filters and search state, creating a seamless search experience regardless of how users explored properties. I complemented the flow with saved searches and a streamlined way to contact agents directly from the listings they were viewing.

Contact Agent Submit
Contact form actions with message field, tour scheduling option, and clear send or cancel controls.
View All Estates
Grid listing view with filters, search, and property cards optimized for scanning and comparison.

The outcome

Funnel data showed increased adoption of saved searches, an early indicator of higher user engagement and a greater likelihood of users returning to the platform.
